Started this last year after all my Christmas stitching was finished. It’s Blackbird Design’s Home for the Holidays, modified to memorialize the year spent mostly at home.

      home

Stitched on the called for 36 count linen with a mix of old and new HDF. Specifically – the front of the house is the old GA Lexington Green remake of NightSmoke 5301/Zinc 5231, the rest of the house is Pennywort 3445/NightSmoke 5305, the roof is Rubbed Grey. The outline is new Rubbed Hare. The bird wing is the new Brass Tacks 3451, the door is new Brass Tacks 3455, the tree is Imperial Green 3333/3335/ws 3339 and the inside upper leaves are SeaWrack 3439/PennyWort 3449/Umbrage 3469 (short runs). The red is Examplar Raisin Wine.

I’m very pleased with how this came out.

Lovely! very relaxing colors. I love the subtleness of Brass Tacks.

This is so adorable! Great use of colors! If I ever visit your house, you better hide it, else it might mysteriously disappear 😆

Well done on your finish! It looks fabulous and I like seeing the ‘new’ colors.
