I just got out my chart Midnight In the Garden by Sampler Cove with the intention of kitting it to start, and see that it
Calls for 4 HDF: Velvet Midnight 2163, Sue Purple 6117, Sue Purple 6119, and Old Maid of the Abyss. I wonder how long it will take to get enough calls in the forum??

Call them! I’m certainly up for more colors and now I need to know what OMOT Abyss looks like?!!!

I just googled the chart and those colors are gorgeous, I’m sure if I check my stash I’ll need one or two if not all of them

I attached a photo for you so other people could see the colors (I’m practicing with this phone/photo thing)

This was a paper chart, correct? Asking because there is a pdf for sale in Ebay for $2.75. Edited to add, I reported it to Ebay.

Yep Linda @lyarrow … EBay girl is selling PDF’s for charts that don’t come as PDF’s. Like Mirabilia charts. Never been a pdf Mirabilia.

      @veena

If anyone is interested in buying the chart 123Stitch has it and many other Sampler Cove charts. I am going to call the threads threads later this evening

Could a kit be made for this pattern or how many 150 yard minis of each color should be ordered to kit up this pattern. Thanks

On the chart it calls for

2 skeins of Velvet Midnight 2263
1 skein of Sue Purple 6117
2 skeins of Sue Purple 6129
3 skeins of Old Maid of the Abyss

Old Maid of the Abyss has been called in the forum and I put in for 3 minis. I haven’t called the other Colors,
and they haven’t been called by anyone else so far.

Vikki would 1 6SR mini of each color called for be enough for this pattern? The pattern calls for:

2 skeins of Velvet Midnight 2263
1 skein of Sue Purple 6117
2 skeins of Sue Purple 6129
3 skeins of Old Maid of the Abyss

      Thanks Lisa F.

@Lisa, 1 micro = 1 skein = 8.7 yards of 6SR. 1 Mini = 25 yds or approximately 3 skeins. (with 3 skeins, you have 26 yards). So with OMOT Abyss, you may run short.

You know this pushed me to talking about carrying this conversion, and the conversion for Growth Rings as a steady product.
So what is it that we need exactly for this, to even cover for 2×2?

      So this is it?

2 skeins of Velvet Midnight 2263
1 skein of Sue Purple 6117
2 skeins of Sue Purple 6129
3 skeins of Old Maid of the Abyss

I’m going to do this, cause of course I have all the colors done. And it should be easy to add to the cart and to our work space..

Awesome! I would buy the pack in a heartbeat! I have the pattern and have often wondered what colors I would stitch it in! Now I will wonder no more!

I have this ready to go but I’m assuming it’s one over two? So if they want to stitch 2 x 2 they have to buy two packets?

2 skeins of Velvet Midnight 2263
1 skein of Sue Purple 6117
2 skeins of Sue Purple 6129
3 skeins of Old Maid of the Abyss

It sounds like, to be on the safe side, people would need to buy two packs for 2×2. The called for fabric is 36 ct, so I think you’re safe in assuming that it was stitched 1 over 2. (My pattern is in storage still, so can’t put my hands on it to check it.)

I’ll err on the side of caution and describe it like that. 123Stitch is letting me link to the pattern and I appreciate everyone’s efforts on this one!
