      What would be the perfect combo-6207/13/17 or 6207/11/15

      Thrilled to reconnect with you. Actually, I have been thinking about you over the last week or so as I am stitching with a Red Combo (1235/6217). Do you have any of that one? I bet @jcash would love to add it to her collection of reds.

      I am figuring out my way around the new site.

      @robininvirginia…. picture please!! LOL! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

      @bear1984
      …both would be pretty…just a bit different. Depends on how you like your variegated colors. Subtle or more dramatic.

      6207/13/17: Would be a pop of the lightest with 2 towards the darkest.
      6207/11/15: would be an even progression of lighter to darker. 😁

      @bear1984
      Since I’m such a fan of the Perfect Red series…I can’t answer that. I have yet to see a combo I didn’t adore. LOL

      @luv2stitch2 How is it possible that I have a silk combo that you don’t have? I would be up for more; I have been hoarding it, but just finished a project with it last night.

      @luv2stitch2…. maybe squint a bit and this will hold us until we can order a few. It’s not subtle but it’s very pretty!!

      Here you go @luv2stitch2 and @jcash

      Okay, let’s see if this works. I took a picture of it with my newly finished stitch. The piece is called Gathering Berries by Luminous Fiber Arts. I broke down and used some of my Red Combo (1235/6217).

      If my picture is too big, let me know and I will try to fix it.

      @robininvirginia What an adorable finish and lovely silk combo. You must be thrilled! Any ideas yet on how you will finish?

      ☺️Asked by a rare FFO’er, but good intentions,

        Thanks so much, @luv2stitch2 ! I can’t decide — it will either be framed or turned into something flat. I do know that I am keeping it.

        And while I tend to be a blue gal, I love this red.

      Newbie here question…..the ruby red that was posted to the mini forum, since it’s base color is omg red 1141 it will be lighter in color than the OMG red 1151 I got in the closed forum a couple of weeks ago? And it will be slightly variegated?

        Oh, definitely lighter. You can see the entire OMG Red series (and many other solids) in luv2stitch2’s media gallery (find her under Members).

        Starts with OMG Red 1131, 1133, 1135, and so on…

        Vikki said the variegation is subtle.

      Oh my @robininvirginia THAT is gorgeous!!! I guess the Atar of Roses gets a bit darker from the deeper 6217. That is definitely a beauty I will be calling at some point. Whenever the board clears out a bit.

      Thanks for the visual!!

      Well I just went through all 122 photos you posted @luv2stitch2…. WOW!! And picked out all my missing REDS to call for later on. Few at a time.

      -Definitely all the PERFECT REDS (except 6209- got it!)
      -ATTAR OF ROSES 1235
      -OMG RED…. 1141, 1143 & 1153. I’m not a pinky type gal. I prefer mauvy pinks more.

      Sooo many gorgeous colors and I’d love to have whole lines eventually if it ever goes back to a monthly club, or smaller skeins or however you did it before.

      Hey @robininvirginia… can you tell me exactly what your bobbin says. I want to go ahead and call for some of this beauty but want to make sure I use the right name/names. May I also use a close up of your bobbin, with credit?? I know it’s:
      Attar of Roses 1235 & Perfect Red 6217

      Thanks for the help! @veena or @luv2stitch2 Shout if you know!!

      Hey back, @jcash

      It says
      25 yards
      6 stranded floss
      1235/6217
      8/2/11

      Of course, you can use a close-up of the bobbin. Hope this helps!

      The series like Yellow Spice; Winterberry; Ultra Maroon; Terra Potta; the Steelies series 😍; Quince; Rock Pile; Quern Stones;
      Phlox😍; Penny Wort😍; Earth Stars; Mauve; Cerveza😍; Alluvium; Aquamarine and Marsh Grass😍!!
      …..you get the idea.

      Edit: bc steelies must be auto-corrected to steeleRS. Nope.

      @davesgirl226 you’re so very welcome. 🥰🥰🥰

      Don’t hesitate PMing me if a series seems “off.” It’s how I knew the Marsh Grass series looked brown to @sims.

      @jcash
      No Steelers! #goteam #sportsball 🙃
      Oh yeah I need the Alluvium family too.
