Just stopping in to say hi - I haven't been posting and I haven't been stitching much... But I ve been reading everyone's posts...
Anyhow, I came across a picture on pinterest today that I wanted to share since it took my breath away. I hope someone will chart this someday... Soon..

That is just a wonderful sampler, very unusual to see a butterfly of such a size and such vibrant colors.
Thank you so much for sharing. I sure hope this sampler gets charted!

Very pretty, thanks for sharing. I do love Samplers that have the "spot" motif type of theme. Also that butterfly is gorgeous. I too hope it would get charted.
edited to add: I was able to blow the Sampler up to a bigger pic on my monitor. I noticed a small renegade Flower (I think it's a flower) In the lower right corner of the border. I love these little inconsistency's of old Samplers, if it is ever reproduced I hope the designer will keep that bit of asymmetry intact.
Link to Sampler again to see Blown up image.

Up in the right hand corner of picture if you hover your mouse over the icon it will say "expand image"
That gave me a huge detailed image. _________________ Nance in Florida
